Self Defense Lessons for Women

Here’s a story I came across when doing some research. The Redlands, CA police department is giving Self Defense Classes.

Ladies! If you’re in the Redlands area, I encourage you to sign up!

I wish more local law enforcement agencies would do this.

Good News for Wisconsin

Stun Guns are going to be legal soon! Actually starting November 1, 2011. Now anyone can protect themselves without having to purchase a firearm. Everyone should have the right to self protection.

A Spray like a Punch in the Face

Here’s an article I came across while reading the NY Times. I regularly read the NY papers online and the Washington Post too. This is about a young lady from the Bronx, who pulled out Pepper Spray and then used it a fight. The end result? She and her mother were arrested. It’s an interesting story.

Here’s the link: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/09/28/nyregion/a-burst-of-pepper-spray-like-a-punch-in-the-face.html?_r=1

Pepper Sprays ARE the right choice in many ways if used correctly; but I read day after day where the crooks will use them instead of a gun.

New Shipping Levels

We’ve revamped our shipping levels. We know times are tough and the economy is in a slump, we’ve just lowered our shipping rates. Now there’s 2 levels of shipping and as always; any order over $75.00 is still free!

Toledo Residents & Private Security

Here’s an article I came across where residents of a community are thinking about getting private security to patrol their neighborhoods instead of depending on the local police agencies.

Maybe this is a good choice. It could leave the police to do other important duties. Why don’t we get rid of state highway workers and go private with that too. Although some states already do that with the rest area maintenance.

Got Road Rage?

Here’s a FUNNY article I found when I was up in the Chicago area. I bet the other driver was laughing his ass off.

Man pepper-sprays himself during road-rage incident

A man reportedly doused himself in the face with pepper spray by accident during a hit-and-run incident near the intersection of Harlem Avenue and 32nd Street at 4:23 p.m. Aug. 19.

According to police reports, the victim was trying to cross Harlem Avenue on westbound 32nd Street, but could not cross due to heavy traffic.

A vehicle described as a late-model white four-door Lincoln Sedan pulled up behind the victim’s vehicle and began honking his horn. A moment later, the driver of the Lincoln rear-ended the victim and got out of his car and began aggressively walking toward the victim’s car, both the victim and two witnesses told police.

Fearing for his safety, the victim then grabbed a can of pepper spray and accidentally sprayed himself in the face. The driver of the Lincoln reportedly arrived at the window, apologized and returned to his vehicle before leaving the scene.

The victim was treated by paramedics on scene and didn’t require hospitalization.

I hope they find Lauren Spierer safe and OK.

Even Rachael Ray has used Pepper Spray

Here’s an article I found about Rachael Ray getting her big break. The story comes from Bloomberg Business Week. She tells about getting her Big Break and it tells about her early adventures of living in New York.  Here’s a link to the story.

Lojack for Kids?

I say today that the FBI has come out with tracking for your child in case he/she gets lost or becomes missing. I guess this could be a good thing from the FBI; considering there’s no shortage of those “Have you seen this child?” Those fliers and posters are everywhere. It’s almost like Lojack for children.

and Track Missing Children
